Souk means market, but The Souk is a place where you can find everything and anything. They have old, new, second hand, custom built, and probably stolen. They set up wherever they can on Saturday, taking up a vast open space in the south-west corner of the city. On Sunday it's a ghost town, nothing left but debris.
